Gordon, Sherrill (née Dowd) died peacefully in Hudson, QC, on April 29, 2026.
Predeceased and by her husband of fifty years, Ney Kingsley Gordon Jr., and by her sister, Barbara. Cherished mother to, Kilby, Heather (Craig), and Kingsley (Lili).
Survived by many neices and nephews. Sherrill was a talented and creative spirit. She loved the arts, enjoyed concerts, painting, gardening, flower arranging, reading and playing the piano. Sherrill will be warmly remembered for her radiant smile and sparkling laughter and grace. She was our joy, and we were hers. Deeply missed, she will live on in our hearts forever.
A service of remembrance, will be held at St. James Church Hall. 642 Main Rd. Hudson, QC, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Nova Hudson, St. James Church Rebuild Fund or Maison Libella Palliative Care Center, would be greatly appreciated.
